Vanessa Taal is a writer, director and editor based in Brooklyn, New York. She has written and published essays, short stories, articles and scripts, and was selected for the one year Director’s Workshop in theater at the Barrow Group in Manhattan in 2017. She has edited works of both distinguished and obscure writers and directors, and prides herself on helping writers and creatives find meaning in their work, in order to share their messages with the world. She was also the personal assistant and editor of Roger Hirson, an accomplished playwright and script writer (well known for his hit musical Pippin) for four years.
