Ronald Wadsworth

Born in 1957 and raised traditionally on the Hopi Nation, Ronald is a cultural lineage holder, fluent in the Hopi language, ceremonial practice and the ancient kiva ways. He is a traditional silversmith, taught by his father, Ted N. Wadsworth, and his uncle, Roy Talahaftewa. His paternal grandfather was a Hopi medicine man and he was born into a family of religious leaders on both his paternal and maternal sides. Ronald was initiated into sacred privileged knowledge through his manhood ceremony in 1978. He currently serves as an advisor to the Hopi Tribe's Cultural Preservation Office and has served Hopi religious leaders and village traditional government as an official spokesman since 1989. Ronald has four children and currently lives in Flagstaff, Arizona with his wife, Katie and son, Orion. Ronald offers profound insight into Hopi culture and draws from ancient cultural wisdom to assist people in spiritual and emotional healing and renewal.
